The resort is well managed and offers great activities like the barge cruise and segway tour. The chalets are clean, spacious, and have comfortable beds. The pools are well-maintained and inviting. The resort provides a Ranger who is knowledgeable about animals and enhances the overall experience. The Kiddie activities are engaging and keep children entertained.

The family villas are spacious and comfortable, with two bathrooms for convenience. The rooms have cozy beds, and the patio is a nice spot to relax. Everything I needed, like a fridge and tea-making facilities, was provided.
Personally, I found the loft area in the villa unnecessary.

I had such a memorable stay at Finfoot Lake Reserve. The staff at the resort were incredibly warm and friendly, providing 5-star service throughout my visit. The Segway bike trail was a hit with both the kids and adults, and we loved spotting giraffes, bucks, and various bird species. The food at the restaurant was divine, and the rooms were lovely and conveniently located near the main facilities. I highly recommend this resort for a family weekend away.

The family villa at Finfoot Lake Reserve was absolutely amazing! The rooms were so cozy and had the comfiest beds. I loved having two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath. The private patio was a great spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Plus, having a mini fridge and tea/coffee facilities in the room was super convenient.
Personally, I didn't really use the loft area with day beds in the villa. But hey, it's just my preference.

What an utterly enjoyable weekend at Finfoot! The beautiful and well-maintained resort offers sparkling pools and comfortable chalets. It's a paradise for photographers and birders, especially at sunset by the lake. The helpful rangers, like Hannes, act as knowledgeable guides and service ambassadors. The staff goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and spoiled. The food is delicious, the drinks are cold, and the value for money is exceptional. Just go!
I do recommend this hotel.

The rooms were spacious and had a nice view of the surroundings. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the service was excellent. We enjoyed the activities and had a great time exploring the area.
The villa we stayed in had some issues. The air conditioning in one of the rooms was not working and it was very hot.

Ate delicious food, drank fancy cocktails, had fun on game drives, and pampered myself at the onsite spa. Definitely felt like a queen.
The bathroom smell was so lovely, it really added to the experience. And who needs a shower without a cracked floor?
